Movies and OTT Shows and their experimental scripts has a unique organism build to influence viewers and their thinking one way or another, Actor is a vital part of that organism, Kashyap mori 25 is an expansive thinker, soulful actor and theatre artist who consciously chooses subjects which are callously embedded in real world.
“ The Portrait of a Vagabond” and “Slumberland” had characters who were struggling to find home and then there’s “Misdiagnosed” where his character is dealing with relationship dynamics of polyamory and HIV.
His experience as theatre actor, training in method acting and in-depth character work is considered as his foundation ground. “Curiosity has been a great tool for me as an actor and I understand that it can be annoying when you’re on the receiving end of it” said referring to his research preparation.
Kashyap will be seen next in an upcoming web series ‘Methods of Shyam’. He isenacting the character of an Indian psychotherapist whose unconventional treatments are the highlight of the story. Talking about the plot of the Series , he says, “It’s an attempt to shed an optimistic light on an extremely stigmatized issue”. The series comprises behavioural scientists dealing with different types of psychologies and mental disorders.
Actively putting his resources at disposal to bring awareness for Climate change and gender equality is something Kashyap has been doing since his high school days. Recently, he was invited to Justina Mutale Foundation to represent the artistic community in the fight for gender equality, where he presented ideas about “Inclusion rider” a contract clause for artists which protects diversity and equality among the film crews and sets.
Furthermore kashyap is bringing together an American group of creatives for the “Pvt.Wars” a play written by James Miller Mclure about three Vietnam War Veterans suffering from PTSD.
