Actor-model Milind Soman turned quite a few heads when he posted a picture of himself running nude in beach in Goa to mark his 55th birthday.

While many people appreciated the post which also trended on social media, a complaint was registered against the fitness enthusiast, who was once asked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘are you really that old’, for obscenity and publishing and transmitting obscene material in electronic form.

Now, coming out in defence of the actor-model, Bollywood actor Pooja bedi said there is nothing obscene about the picture of the actor, and added that the obscenity lies in the mind of the viewers. Further, she said if nudity is a crime, all naga sadhus should be arrested.

"Absolutely nothing obscene about @milindrunning aesthetic pic. The obscenity lies in the minds of a viewer imagining more! His crime is being good looking, famous & setting bench marks! If nudity is a crime all naga babas should be arrested. Smearing ash can’t make it acceptable," she tweeted along with the pictures of nude naga sadhus.

“Please tell me why this video of naked men flashing & flaunting their genitalia isn't obscene? Because it involves men considered "holy" ? Is there anything holy about what they r doing in this video? Why should't they b booked 4 obscenity,” she said in another tweet.

A complaint was registered against Soman after "an organisation called Suraksha Manch had given a complaint against Soman for running nude on a beach in South Goa and then circulating those pictures on social media," Pankaj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, South Goa, had told news agency ANI.
