Amid the ongoing tussle between Kangana Ranaut and the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to demolish her ‘illegal construction’ at her Mumbai office.

On Tuesday, the BMC had served a notice under the section 354(A) of Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) Act, to stop the ongoing work inside the premises and produce the permissions for the illegal constructions at the office of Manikarnika Productions. “We have served a notice to Ranaut to submit documentary evidence and permissions regarding illegal constructions. If she failed to file a reply within 24-hrs we will initiate action of demolition of illegal extensions,” Vinayak Vispute, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, H-west ward (Bandra west) had said on Wednesday.

Comparing her office to a temple, Kangana said ‘Babur and his army’ are destroying it, as she shared photos from outside her office on Monday.

Kangana, who is en route to Mumbai, tweeted a video of her office and said that ‘Maharashtra goons are set to destroy’ her property.  “As I am all set for Mumbai Darshan on my way to the airport, Maha government and their goons are at my property all set to illegally break it down, go on! I promised to give blood for Maharashtra pride this is nothing take everything but my spirit will only rise higher and higher,” she said in the tweet.

Meanwhile, extending its support to Kangana, the Karni Sena said that its members will escort Kangana from the airport to her home in Mumbai. Jeevan Solanki of Karni Sena has said, “Karni Sena will be present at Mumbai airport on September 9 to support Kangana Ranaut. Karni Sena members will be protecting and escorting Kangana Ranaut from the airport to her home.”
