Actor Prabhas, on Tuesday, announced the news his fans have been eagerly waiting for. He will feature in director Om Raut's next project - a 3D action drama titled Adipurush.
Sharing the poster, he wrote: “Celebrating the victory of good over evil!”
The film will mark Prabhas and Om Raut's first project together. Adipurush will be co-produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Om Raut.
The film that will be shot in Telugu and Hindi is expected to release in 2022. Om Raut’s previous film was Ajay Devgn-starrer period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
“Every role and character comes with its own challenges, but portraying a character like this comes with tremendous responsibility and pride. I am very excited to portray this character of our epic specially the way Om Raut has designed it. I am sure that all the youth of our country will shower all their love on our film,” Prabhas said in a statement.
Prabhas last seen in multilingual action thriller Saaho. Prabhas also is waiting to wrap the remaining portions of Radhe Shyam.
