Producer Ekta Kapoor, on Friday, shared the video of the first-ever scene actor Sushant Singh Rajput shot in his debut TV show Kis Desh Mein Hain Meraa Dil.
Sushant was the second lead in the 2008 soap, after which he was cast as the lead in the hit TV soap Pavitra Rishtra. He made his Bollywood debut in Kai Po Che! in 2013.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Ekta wrote, “Lots of people were asking me about Sushant’s first scene... this was the first scene we shot with him. This was his 1st scene on Television which went on-air in a show called ‘Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil’. He was the 2nd lead in that show, but we knew he was meant for greater things and he went and did just that. Lots of love, peace and prayers for this beautiful, beautiful piece of light and shining soul.”
The video, which was shared due to public demand, shows the young actor making a dashing entry, framed on top of a car, with the scene set on the edge of a beautiful cliff. The scene then cuts to a dramatic football match.
Sushant, 34, died by suicide on June 14. The CBI has now taken over probe of the actor’s death and has registered FIR against actor Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, and Shruti Modi.
The charges against Chakraborty and others include abetment of suicide, criminal conspiracy, wrongful confinement, theft, cheating and intimidation.
