Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara will premiere on Disney + Hotstar on July 24.

“A story of love, hope, and endless memories. Celebrating the late #SushantSinghRajput's legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara coming to everyone on July 24,” the streaming platform tweeted.

The movie will be made available for subscribers as well as non-subscribers of Disney+Hotstar. Also starring, Sanjana Sanghi and Saif Ali Khan, the movie marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. AR Rahman has composed music for the film.

Remembering Sushant, Chhabra said: "Sushant was not just the hero of my debut film as a director, but was a dear friend who stood by me through thick and thin. He had promised me that he would be in my first film. So many plans were made together, so many dreams were dreamt together but never once did I ever imagine that I would be left alone to release this film."

The film is a remake of the popular Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars, based on author John Green’s book by the same name. The film was earlier titled Kizie Aur Manny.  Green had said he was excited about the Hindi adaptation and wanted to watch it. The Fault In Our Stars is based on the love relationship between two terminally ill patients.

Sushant, 34, was found hanging in his Bandra home on June 14.

The actor made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che, which was adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s The Three Mistakes of My Life. Before his foray in films, he had acted in television serials, most notably in Pavitra Rishta.

His last film which had theatrical release was Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, in which he acted alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
