The untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has once again exposed the dark side of the entertainment industry which is allegedly led by certain camps and thrives on nepotism. There were many spoke up about the struggles faced by an "outsider" in Bollywood.

Raveena Tandon joined actors like Ranvir Shorey, Gulshan Devaiah, Kangana Ranaut, and Vivek Oberoi who called out the double standards in the industry.

In a series of tweets, Tandon said there are certain “mean girls” camps in the industry. These people can get you thrown out of movies and their journalist friends can destroy careers with fake stories, she said. "mean girl”gang of the industry. Camps do exist. She further said when you try to speak out, you are branded as "liar, mad and psychotic" and the journalists will write pages to destroy all the hard work you do. The actor said although there were attempts to "bury" her, she fought back. "It can happen to someone born within,an “insider” as I can hear insider/outsider words,some anchors blaring away.But you fight back.The more they tried to bury me,the harder I fought back. Dirty politics happen everywhere. But sometimes one roots for good to win, and Evil to lose."

Tandon clarified that she loves the industry and added that there are all kinds of people in Bollywood. "I love my industry,but yes,the pressures are high,there are good people and people who play dirty, there are all kinds,but that’s what makes the world. One has to pick up the pieces,walk again and again,with the head held high. Goodnight world.I pray for a better tmrw."
