Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. The actor has been making news because of his bitter divorce battle with wife Aaliya who filed a legal notice recently and claimed custody of their kids.
And now, his niece has filed a police complaint alleging sexual harassment by his brother when she was nine years old. Responding to this, Aaliya said that this was just the beginning. Taking to Twitter, Aaliya said: “This is just the beginning. Thanking God for sending so much support already. Lot will be revealed, shocking the world as I am not the only one who suffered in silence. Let's see how much of TRUTH money can buy & who all would they continue to BRIBE.''

In a series of tweets, she said that only time will prove who will be punished for the crime, and for not reporting it.

Recently, she had shared a series of cryptic tweets on actors who have may layers to their personalities and are 'much more scary than the roles they portray on screen'.
The actor's niece said that she was abused by his brother when she was nine years old and as a child, she could not understand what he was doing to her. She told the Times of India that she was raised by her stepmother after her parents got divorced when she was two. “As a child I didn’t understand thinking it was my uncle, but when I grew up I realised it was a different kind of touch. There was violence too,” she told TOI.
She also alleged that Nawazuddin did not support her when she spoke to her about the abuse, and dismissed her claims. Nawazuddin’s reaction to her accusation was “chacha hai, aisa kabhi nahi kar sakte (he is your uncle, he can’t do this). ”
Speaking to TOI, she said that she had a court marriage and her father and Nawazuddin were allegedly harassing her in-laws.
Aaliya had said that she could no longer stay in the relationship with Nawazzudin for the sake of her self-esteem, and had also accused the actor's brother of creating issues.
