Popular actor Ashish Vidyarthi, who often comes up with interesting videos on various topics, recently shared an incident that inspired him.
The actor, who works Bollywood, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu, said he once came across a cab driver who made him look at life with a renewed sense of gratitude. Vidyarthi said he was on his way from Mumbai to Pune in a cab, and when he was nearing Pune early in the morning, the cab driver asked him if he could use the actor's phone.
The cab driver called up his daughter and asked her to wake up. As the phone was on 'speaker' mode Vidyarthi could listen to their conversation. The driver asked the girl to prepare food and leave for school. The girl told him that she woke up at 4 am, prepared food and got ready to go to school.
After the driver cut the call, the driver said, “the girl has grown up”.
Curious, the actor asked him about his family. The driver told him that he has a 12-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son, and that he has lost his wife some time ago.
The actor said when the girl was heard saying that she got up at 4am and prepared the food, he and others in the cab were impressed.
“There we saw the father of two children, trying his best even as he is away from home to bring up his children so that they can have great education. I was really touched,” the actor says.
The actor goes on to say how people are achieving so many things with so little. Further, he asks people to be thankful for what life has offered to each and make most of the opportunities.
