Jessica Mann, the actor who is at the centre of the ongoing Weinstein trial, says Weinstein possibly injected himself before raping her.
Mann who thought 'God was blessing' her when she first met the movie mogul said, Weinstein, said that she “owed him me one more time,” before raping her at a Beverly Hills hotel.
Mann said that she had given a lot to be in Hollywood, including a big fight with her father.
Her first encounter with Weinstein itself turned out to be a harrowing one where Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on Mann in a hotel room while promising her lead roles in his upcoming movies.
In another instance when Weinstein raped her in a room of DoubleTree Hotel, she found a needle in the bathroom, which she believed Weinstein used to inject himself to get an erection. “I was panicked because my worst nightmare was about to happen,” Mann said through tears at a Manhattan courthouse.
Despite her wanting to stay out of touch with Weinstein, she felt trapped as Weinstein constantly reminded her of the power he wielded in the industry she desperately wanted to break into.
Weinstein, 67, is on trial for five sex-crime charges, including three related to his alleged encounters with Mann. Two allegations include forcibly performing oral sex on Miriam Haleyi, a former Project Runway production assistant.
