On Tuesday morning, one of Twitter India's top trends was #Meena. Why? Because it was officially confirmed the actress was roped in for Rajinikanth's next. The film, tentatively titled Thalaivar 168, is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. The film is said to be a village drama, with typical elements of Rajinikanth films

Fans of both Meena and Rajinikanth are excited as the duo are teaming up after more than two decades. Rajinikanth and Meena have previously worked together in super hit films Ejamaan, Veera and Muthu. According to reports, actress Keerthy Suresh has also been roped in for a pivotal role in the film.
Rajinkanth is currently awaiting release of A.R. Muragadoss film Darbar in which he plays a cop after 25 years. Darbar has music by Anirudh Ravichandran, after his successful outing with Rajinikanth in Petta.
