WWE met Bollywood on Saturday, as Varun Dhawan gave dancing lessons to American professional wrestler and ten-time WWE women’s champion Charlotte Flair.

In the now-viral clip, the Student of the Year star attempts to show Flair a Bollywood dance move, which she playfully struggles to keep up with.

Posting an image of the dance on her Instagram, Flair said, “Not quite salsa lessons instead learning some Bollywood dance moves .. thank you @varundvn getting me Bollywood ready! 👸🏼 #Mumbai #India.”

Dhawan later shared a post of him and Flair, clearly excited about the encounter.

Flair was in India to celebrate Children’s Day with young WWE fans in India, spending time with Special Olympics child athletes in Mumbai. She tweeted after the event that, “the most important thing about being a part of WWE is putting smiles on the kid’s faces.”

She followed up her Mumbai foray with a trip to Bengaluru to attend Comic Con.

She tweeted after her visit, “I have fallen in love with India. I could feel the strong sense of family, the love for celebration and the people’s generosity. Thank you to everyone who made my visit special; the cuisine, Bollywood dancing and learning to drape my own saree. I will have these memories forever!”

Flair was last in India four years ago, when she was part of the WWE main roster. She is the daughter of the legendary WWE wrestler Ric Flair, who was a 16-time world champion. In turn, Charlotte was voted the world’s top female professional wrestler in 2016 and was the first woman to headline a pay-per-view event.
