'Saaho' trailer out, Prabhas packs a punch in this action-packed affair

The much-awaited trailer of Saaho has just been released, and as expected, it is an action-packed affair, boasting of some high-octane stunts. It comes as no surprise then that the film has also been referred to as the country's Mission Impossible, with stunt scenes taking on a whole new level.

The trailer begins with a heist that has taken place in Mumbai and the probe into the same. Prabhas appears as the undercover cop would investigate the robbery. He gets a great intro with some fine action scenes. We are then introduced to the character of Shraddha Kapoor, who is a crime branch officer. The baddies, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi and Arun Vijay are introduced later. After a few action sequences, there is the customary romance and dance and song routine, assuring the audience that the film will have every ingredient of a mass masala thriller.

What follows then are some of the action sequences that remind you of some big budget Hollywood flicks.

The movie, starring Prabhas in the lead, is set to be released on August 30. This is the first film of the actor to be released ever since the success of the grand visual spectacle Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor. Apart from Shraddha and Prabhas, the movie also stars Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Arun Vijay in the lead.

The makers of the movie has been teasing the audience with character posters of both Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, and if the trailer is anything to go by, the wait hasn't been for nothing. The trailer suggests that Saaho has everything to excite an action movie junkie and all fans of Prabhas.

The movie will be dubbed an released Hindi and Tamil as Prabhas has become a phenomenon across the country ever since the release of Baahubali series.

Saaho is bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 crore.
