Dileep gets court nod to fly to Bangkok on Nov 15

A court here on Friday allowed actor Dileep, accused in the 2017 actress attack case, to travel abroad.

The actor had sought permission to travel to Bangkok from November 15 till the first week of January for a film shoot. The court gave the nod while asking the actor to submit all travel details, including place of stay.

Dileep was allowed to travel to Dubai for business purposes for four days for the inauguration of his new restaurant in the Gulf in November 2017.

Dileep was arrested on July 10, 2017, and granted bail on October 3, after 83 days in prison. While granting bail, the Kerala High Court had asked Dileep to surrender his passport, deposit a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh and two solvent sureties for the like amount. Besides, he was ordered to appear before investigating officers as and when required.

Six persons, including key accused Pulsar Suni, have been arrested in the case.
