The final Deadpool 2 trailer dropped on Thursday, a hail of bullets, blood and twisted humour. The trailer, which introduces Marvel as the production house that killed Wolverine, goes on to take a potshot at their rival DC.

The first trailer had given us some intriguing hints of what to expect in the second installation of the movie on the smirking, loudmouthed mercenary. It teased a lot of action-packed sequences, starting with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) jumping into a cab amid a hail of bullets.

The final trailer reaffirmed the introduction of villain Cable (Josh Brolin), who has apparently come in search of a kid. To meet the challenge, Deadpool forms an alliance X-Force with mutants like Domino (Zazie Beetz), and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand).

Perhaps the highlight of it all: an ordinary dude named Peter joins X-Force and skydives in the final shot.
