In January this year, on Deepika Padukone's birthday, there were rumours of her engagement to Ranveer Singh in Sri Lanka. Now, the rumours have resurfaced again, with news of Deepika's parents meeting Ranveer's family in Mumbai.
According to some reports doing the rounds, the couple prefer a destination wedding like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Reports have also suggested the wedding might take place in Mumbai according to South Indian rituals. On the other hand, other reports put off these rumours.
Deepika has reportedly been advised rest and to lighten work load due to her severe backache issues. Recently, she took a break from Vishal Bhardwaj's Sapna Didi biopic due to backcahe. Ranveer Singh is busy with his upcoming films Gully Boy and Simmba.
