The indigenously designed and developed Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) will be the star attraction at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) pavilion at Aero India 2025. For the first time, a 1:1 model of fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) will also be part of the pavilion.

The central theme of the India pavilion at the Aero India 2025, to be held from February 10 at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru, is self-reliance .
Apart from the LUH, the Bengaluru-headquartered aerospace and defence company will also showcase Hindustan Turbo Trainer (HTT)-40 Simulator, scaled models of the LCA Tejas Mk1A fighter, LCA Mk1 Trainer, Hindustan Jet Trainer (HJT)-36, HTT-40, LCH and ALH Mk IV at its indoor stall.
The indoor stall will also showcase highly advanced avionics systems like Mission Management System, Digital Map Generator, Data Lite-Communication System, IFF & CIT, Indigenous Communication Complex with Audio Management System, Audio Warning System, and Radio Control Panels.
The outdoor display will include LCA Mk 1A and HJT 36. HTT-40, LCA Mk 1 Trainer, Hindustan 228, Do-228 and LUH.

The flying display will see a unique LCA Mk 1A formation, HJT 36, HTT-40 and LUH.
A functional full-scale engineering demonstrator of Combat Air Teaming System (CATS) Warrior will also be part of the India pavilion along with Advanced Light Helicopter Next Generation (ALH NG) and RUAV.
“HAL’s indigenously designed and developed Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) will be at the centre stage. Various innovative products conceived and developed by HAL R&D Divisions in the area of avionics, mechanical systems, engines and aerospace for manned and unmanned aircraft will also be the highlight at HAL stall”, company CMD D.K. Sunil said in a release.
HAL will promote indigenously-built platforms to visiting defence delegations and hold business meetings with OEMs and customers besides signing agreements and contracts with its business partners for various projects, the company said in a statement.
