Vehicles, such as cars and bikes, will now be cheaper under the new restructured GST rate cuts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday and said that the new GST rates are meant to impact the poor and middle class positively. The PM also emphasised the need for purchasing goods manufactured in India or swadeshi goods.
