Dr M.I. Sahadulla, chairman and managing director of KIMSHEALTH, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by CAHOCON, an association of healthcare organisations working to ensure patient safety and institutional accreditation. The award was presented at the eighth edition of CAHOCON in Kolkata.
The theme of this year's conference is 'Make Healthcare Efficient, Effective, Economical, and Equitable'. Dr Sahadulla has been recognised for his pivotal role in transforming KIMSHEALTH into a prominent presence in the healthcare sector in the Middle East and India, as well as for his significant interventions in the healthcare sector in Kerala.
Since its inception in Thiruvananthapuram in 2002, KIMSHEALTH has evolved into one of the largest healthcare networks, growing from a 250-bed to a 2000-bed healthcare group, with hospitals in India, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
