A delivery partner with the US-based food delivery platform, DoorDash, confronted a customer at her place of work after she marked the order as 'not delivered' although she had received her order.

In a video that has gone viral, the delivery partner is seen returning to the customer's place of work and confronting her saying her attempt to get "free food" would jeopardize his job. The delivery partner had recorded the entire conversation on his phone.

"Hello. So, you didn't get the DoorDash order from earlier," he asked her. He told her that she reported the order as 'not delivered' even as she tried to pretend that she doesn't understand what was happening.

"Are you trying to get free food with my job on the line," he asked her and explained to her that he is an independent contractor with the delivery platform, and her claim that she did not receive the food amounts to a violation of the contract by him. This would put his job at risk, he told her and added that he is in no position to lose the job.

“It doesn't just randomly happen magically, you have to get a hold of DoorDash support directly to say that the order never arrived," the delivery partner told the customer after she tried to defend herself saying it may have happened by mistake and she did not report the status of the order as 'not delivered.'

He told her that all he wanted for her to do was admit that she received the order, and she acknowledged that she did receive the food.

The two-and-a-half-minute clip has received more than two million likes on social media.
