Popular multinational fast food chain McDonald's Corporation has come out with a few changes to make its burgers tastier.
According to a CNN Business report, the changes to McDonald's menu are part of the attempts by the company to boost sales. The buns are going to be softer, the onions will be added to patties on the grill and the cheese would be gooier.
These changes will be applicable to McDouble burger, Big Mac, hamburger, cheeseburger and double cheeseburger.
The fast food joint made these changes to burgers in the international markets first. In the US, these changes have been made in a few cities, including Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
“We found that small changes, like tweaking our process to get hotter, meltier cheese and adjusting our grill settings for a better sear, added up to a big difference in making our burgers more flavorful than ever,” senior director of culinary innovation of USA, Chad Schafer, has been quoted as saying.
In January, during the analyst call, CEO Chris Kempczinski had said the joint is gaining market share in both chicken and beef. “Throughout 2022, some of our most successful campaign platforms brought our customers closer to the core menu items,” he was quoted as saying.
The company has been focusing on promoting its core food items instead of trying to introduce new items on the menu.
McDonald's is set to declare its Q1 results on April 25.
