Anil-Singh

Statistics show that the business and freelance industry is one of the highest contributors to our national GDP. However, this earning comes from a select group among the whole. In other words, it is not everyone can reap the benefits of this particular career path. Yet, one successful individual is Anil Singh. Belonging to the city of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, Anil Singh comes from a middle class, which motivated him to take a job that would improve their standard of living.

As of 2007, Anil Singh is the proud founder of Lakshya Flexi Tubes, one of India’s best providers of high-quality fixing solutions. Over time, Anil Singh has expanded his business from just 15 to 200 workers and intends to raise this number to 500 in the upcoming year of 2023. Moreover, Anil Singh also runs a philanthropic organisation by the name of Sadbhawna Sewa Sansthan, which played an integral role in hosting awareness campaigns and providing food donations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, what is it that stops other people from achieving the same? Anil Singh states, "Everyone wants their venture to succeed, but when has just wanted something secured its existence?" With years of hands-on experience, he discusses 2 tips and tricks every newbie entrepreneur should keep in mind:

Always take the opportunity- According to Anil Singh, risks are something every businessman has to face. But more importantly, new risks only arise when there is something new to be done. In other words, when there is an opportunity to do something differently. Being risk averse in this scenario will not be of much help as one might regret not taking the opportunity later on. Instead, it is important to practically analyse the advantages and disadvantages every decision can bring and accordingly finalise it.

Build connections in the industry- Running a successful business means ensuring every part of the production and supply chain is carried out without a hitch. For new entrepreneurs, it is advisable to be involved in the production process as much as possible. Yet, this is only possible when you have strong connections in both your industry of operation as well as related ones.
