Billionaire Elon Musk fathered twins with Shivon Zilils, a top executive at his artificial intelligence company Neuralink, court documents reveal. The CEO of Tesla is now the father of nine children. He has five children with his first wife Justine Musk, and two with the singer Claire Boucher, known professionally as Grimes.
Shivon Zilis and Elon Musk had, in April, filed a court petition for the twins to "have their father's last name" and their mother's last name as part of their middle name, as per documents obtained by Business Insider.
Zilis reportedly gave birth in November 2021, weeks before Musk and Boucher had their second baby via surrogate. In September last year, Musk said that he and Boucher were semi-separated. 36-year-old Zilis, who started working at Neuralink in May 2017, is the director of operations and special projects. She is also a board member at artificial-research firm OpenAI, which was co-founded by Musk, a Sky News report reads.
In June this year, Elon Musk's 18-year-old son Xavier Alexander Musk sought to sever ties with his father and change his name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, taking his mother's last name.
