The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the postponement of the remaining papers for the Chartered Accountants May 2025 Examinations.
This decision was taken considering the ongoing instability and the uncertain security situation in the country, informed ICAI.
In an official notification issued by the ICAI examination department on May 8, officials stated that the remaining examinations of the CA Final, Intermediate and Post Qualification Course (International Taxation- Assessment Test, INTT AT) which was scheduled to be conducted from May 9 to May 14 stand postponed.
The institution has not provided the new exam dates yet, but assured candidates that a revised schedule will be announced at a later stage.
Candidates are strongly advised to stay updated by visiting the official ICAI website. This website will act as the primary source for all future announcements related to the revised dates and exam logistics.
The unexpected shift may impact thousands of aspiring chartered accountants across the country, especially those who were in the middle of their exam cycle. While the decision is rooted in ensuring the safety of the candidates and staff, it has understandably caused concern among students who have been preparing intensely for the May session.
