The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi extended the last date of the GATE 2020 examination by two days. The last date for application for GATE 2020 was on Tuesday. Candidates can now submit their application form for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering online without paying late fees by Thursday, September 26.
Candidates who wish to register for the GATE 2020 examination can visit the official website gate.iitd.ac.in and apply. The registration link has been active on the IIT Delhi website since September. By paying late fees, candidates may apply for GATE 2020 up to October 1.
How to apply for GATE 2020:
1. Go to the official website―gate.iitd.ac.in.
2. Click on the ‘GATE Online Application Portal is live. Click here to Apply’ link
3. Click on the registration link provided for GATE 2020
4. Register as new user or log in
5. Enter your details, upload required documents, including your photo
6. Download the GATE 2020 application form
The GATE 2020 examination will be held on February 1, 2, 8 and 9. The results for the exam will be announced on March 16, 2020. GATE 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects in the online mode as Computer-Based Tests. Test centres are spread across different cities in India and six cities outside the country.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven other IITs (in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
