A Bengaluru youth was stabbed to death by four inebriated men on Sunday night for accidentally stepping on the foot of one of the four accused while dancing at a procession.
According to media reports, Venkatesh, 19, was dancing during a procession to mark the village festival at Pattalamma Layout in Adugodi in the city when the incident occurred.
A quarrel began after the victim accidentally stepped on the foot of one of the accused. The tension escalated soon and one of the men stabbed Venkatesh.
Although he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries.
