Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's father-in-law Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibba passed away at a city hospital here on Wednesday.
Chibba died last night at Escorts hospital, a member from Shah Rukh's team confirmed.
Shah Rukh, who is married to the colonel's daughter, Gauri, flew down to the capital to attend the cremation, which took place at Lodhi Crematorium on Wednesday.
The actor cancelled the shooting of his film Raees which was underway in Mumbai.
Shah Rukh and Gauri's close friend filmmaker Karan Johar also attended the last rites.
"Death is the only reminder of Life....," Johar wrote on Twitter.
