Reacting to media reports that claimed that the special investigation team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) found no evidence to connect Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan in the drugs on cruise case, SIT chief and NCB DDG (operation) Sanjay Singh said it is premature to make such claims.

He said the probe by the investigating agency is under way and they haven't reached any conclusion yet.

"Highly premature to say that there is no evidence against Aryan Khan. Probe still in progress, we recorded multiple statements. Have not reached any conclusion yet," news agency ANI quoted him as saying.

He said the reports that appeared on the media are mere speculations. "Such statements were not cross-checked with NCB before being published. Probe not completed yet, premature to say anything as of now."

Aryan Khan was arrested after the NCB raided a cruise ship and busted a drugs party off the coast of Mumbai. He was held under Section 8C, 20B, 27 read with 35 of the NDPS Act. He was later granted bail.
