Hyderabad, Nov 6 (PTI) Telangana CEO C Sudharsan Reddy said on Friday that the EC has given electors marked as ASDD “one more opportunity” to have their names included in the final electoral roll.

The draft electoral roll was published on August 17 as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

Notices were issued, and claims and objections were disposed of between August 17 and November 5.

The new window is meant for voters whose names were left out of the draft roll because they had been marked as ASDD (Absent, Shifted, Dead or Duplicate), including those who believe they were marked as such in error.

In a release, Reddy said the entire process, including the disposal of these applications and the publication of the final roll, will be completed by November 21.

“Electors whose names could not be included in the draft electoral roll because they were marked as ASDD are therefore urged to use this opportunity and get their names included in the final electoral roll,” he said.
