Thane, Oct 30 (PTI) Shiv Sena spokesperson Anand Paranjpe on Friday appealed to the leaders and spokespersons of the ruling Mahayuti alliance constituents to refrain from making allegations against his party's leaders.

The trading of charges that began following the Legislative Council election results must stop and leaders should focus on strengthening coordination among the alliance partners BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena, he said here.

The language used by some spokespersons of the allies regarding Shiv Sena leaders was inappropriate, the former MP said.

He particularly objected to the comments made during a BJP spokesperson's press conference.

Nobody should cross limits while criticising the Sena, he warned.

Coordination issues within the Mahayuti will be discussed at a senior level during meetings of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Sunetra Pawar, Paranjpe said.

Eknath Shinde had strictly instructed Shiv Sena leaders and spokespersons not to criticize allied parties, he said.

Paranjpe also condemned remarks made by party MLA Sanjay Gaikwad regarding farmers, stating that public representatives should not make insensitive remarks, and indicated that Shinde has signalled that disciplinary action will be taken against Gaikwad.
