Hyderabad, Oct 29 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday claimed that the Congress party's agitation against SIR is not one party's fight but the country's fight against "vote theft".

Responding to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's appeal to people to join the opposition INDIA bloc's November 1 'Chalo Dilli' march, he claimed that Telangana stands with the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha.

When the vote is stolen, every other right is in danger, he said.

Reddy said he supports Rahul Gandhi's call to defend democracy and the Constitution and that he supports his leader's call.

"I will be there. Telangana stands with him. This is not one party's fight. It is India's fight against 'vote chori', for our democracy and our Constitution. It is for our right to a voice, and for our right to exist. Samvidhan Bachao. Loktantra Bachao. Chalo Delhi," he said in a post on X.

Rahul Gandhi on Thursday urged people to join the opposition INDIA bloc's November 1 'Chalo Dilli' march, asking them not to worry about police and their "lathis".
