Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother has now come out to call Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre 'a monster' while claiming that his sister is the 'real victim'.

“I know who the monster is here, and it’s not my sister; it’s Virginia Giuffre and her falsehoods that have had devastating ramifications for Ghislaine. I didn’t shed a tear when she died,” Ian Maxwell told The Telegraph in an interview on Friday.

The interview has come amid a viral video supposedly depicting Ghislaine Maxwell walking on a street in Quebec. There has been an increasing number of speculations and conspiracy theories on social media that Ghislaine Maxwell was swapped in prison. However, assuredly, Maxwell is in Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Texas, until proven otherwise.

Giuffre, who accused both Epstein and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor of sexual assault and abuse, died by suicide at the age of 41 in April last year.

Meanwhile, Maxwell had a well-documented relationship with Andrew to the point where she had “unrestricted access” to the palace, The Sun reported. The two also reportedly went on dates and were seen being “intimate”. The ex-royal and Epstein also had a well-documented relationship before the disgraced financier’s arrest on sex trafficking charges. Biographer Andrew Lownie described the three as being in a “love triangle.”

It was Ghislaine Maxwell who introduced Andrew to Epstein, which eventually led to their friendship. The ex-royal had spoken about how he met Epstein through his “girlfriend”, whom he had known since she was at university in the UK.

Maxwell and Epstein are said to have trafficked Virginia Giuffre, who was 17, to Andrew. Guiuffre, in her book “Nobody’s Girl”, described how she was forced into sexual relations with Andrew after a night out dancing. In December 2001, Ghislaine and Andrew, who had his arm around Virginia Giuffre, were photographed at the former's townhouse in London.

Andrew has claimed that the photograph is fake. The former duke of York, who has denied ever having sex with the trafficked teenager, also paid a million dollars to her in a 2022 out-of-court settlement.

According to Maxwell’s sentencing released June 28 2022, she was found guilty of having “assisted, facilitated, and participated in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of minor girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to recruit, groom, and ultimately abuse victims known to Maxwell and Epstein to be under the age of 18."

Multiple victims who testified in court identified Maxwell as having groomed them for sexual assault.

In court documents, Giuffree said that Epstein trafficked her to have sex with Andrew at Maxwell’s flat in Belgravia, London, at Epstein’s New York mansion and at his Little St James island.

Ian Maxwell, meanwhile, claimed that his sister has done “nothing wrong” and that the “length of her conviction is outrageous”. He compared her sentence to that of Sean Diddy Combs.

“You have a situation where somebody like P Diddy stands in front of the same federal court on the same charge and receives four-and-a-half years for extreme physical battery, and my sister receives 20 years,” he said.

Ian Maxwell also criticised the royal family for their treatment of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor in the wake of his recent arrest. "There he is, kicked out of his home, completely isolated and unlike Ghislaine, he doesn't even have a supportive family; even his daughters are at sixes and sevens about what to do," he said.
