Scheiermann believes that three things may have transformed Tyler the Mormon kid into a killer.
“There’s three factors: bad friends, influence from social media, social media and mental health. And I think all three of those factors are part of our problem in this world, and I think that was it,” she said.
Earlier, a family member who spoke to investigators revealed that Tyler had recently become more political and spoke in a disparaging manner about Charlie Kirk.
Tyler's roommate showed the investigators the comments he had made on Discord, discussing the engravings on the bullets and where he went after the shooting.
He also disclosed to his friend that he has to retrieve a bolt-action rifle from a drop point. In the message, Robinson said he wrapped the rifle in a towel and stashed it in a bush. He also revealed that he used a scope to shoot Charlie Kirk and changed his clothes after the shooting.
