The FBI on Friday revealed that Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin Tyler Robinson engraved the words "Hey fascist! Catch!" and "Oh, Bella Ciao!"
The bullet casing that was fired read "notices bulges OWO what’s this?". This was in reference to a meme used to troll transgenders. There were three more unfired bullets.
One of them read, "Hey fascist! Catch!". It was accompanied by an up arrow symbol, right arrow symbol, and three down arrow symbols.
Another one read, "If you read this you are gay LMAO" while a third one read, "Oh bella ciao bella ciao bella ciao ciao ciao." The revelation comes a day after FBI revealed that the ammunition in the bolt-action rifle recovered from the wooded area near the univeristy had pro-transgender and anti-fascist ideology engraved on them.
Tyler Robinson, 22, turned more political in recent years and openly slammed Charlie Kirk's ideas. This was confirmed by a family friend who said he was "full of hate" in the days leading to the shooting.
Tyler told a family member that Charlie Kirk was coming to Utah Valley University days before the shooting, discussing why he did not like him, revealed Utah governor Spencer Cox.
During a family dinner, Tyler was heard saying that "Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate".
The governor, meanwhile, urged Kirk's supporters not to "rage" in response to the fatal shooting. "You are inheriting a country where politics feels like rage. It feels like rage is the only option," Cox said. "There is one person responsible for what happened here, and that person is now in custody and will be charged soon and will be held accountable."
