A Pakistani travel agent, known as Madam N, emerged as the ISI handler who lured Indian influencers like Jyoti Malhotra and moulded them into spies, according to sources cited by NDTV.

Who is Madam N?

'Madam N' has been identified as Noshaba Shehzad Masud, a Lahore-based businesswoman who is the CEO of a travel company called Jaiyana Travel and Tourism. She was brought up in Talagang in Chakwal district, Punjab. After getting married to a civil service official in Islamabad, she began exporting agriculture products. Later, she moved to her husband's hometown in Lahore in 2018.

During her time in Lahore, Noshaba began helping Indians whose families were forced to move from Pakistan during the Partition visit their ancestral land and their lost homes.

In 2023, The Times of India quoted Noshaba as saying, "I've forgotten the number of people from India who connect with me on social media for a visa to visit home. They are in the twilight of their lives. Fond memories of their roots perhaps create a strong urge to visit, maybe for one final time."

Under this guise, she began recruiting Indians, at home and abroad, to spy for Pakistan, according to NDTV sources. Noshaba reportedly has hundreds of sleeper cells in India. With her influence in Pakistani embassy in Delhi, the businesswoman would easily help Indians get visa to Pakistan, said the report.

Noshaba's contacts at the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi included Danish alias Ehsan ur Rehman who was recently declared a persona non grata by India. Jyoti Malhotra who was close to Danish had earlier travelled to Bali with him. She had also visited Pakistan four times.
