Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have been asked to vacate their home in Britain, Frogmore Cottage. The property is located within the grounds of King Charles's Windsor Castle estate. The home was reportedly offered by King Charles III to his brother Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew, who was forced to quit his royal role over his relationship with convicted US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein said that he wants to stay in his current home rather than live at Frogmore Cottage.

It has been three years since Harry and Meghan stepped down from their roles as senior working royals. They have since moved to California. But, have but have used Frogmore on the few occasions they have been back. The couple who had moved to Frogmore in 2018 had also agreed to pay back the 2.4 million pounds ($2.9 million) of taxpayers' money that was spent renovating the house. "We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage," a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan told Reuters.

Harry and Meghan recently in a Netflix docuseries made some damning revelations about King Charles III and Harry's elder brother Prince William. Harry also made some stinging criticisms of the family in his memoir titled 'Spare' which broke records for speed of sales. This put further strain on the couple's relationship with the royal family. The recent development has cast major doubts on whether Harry will attend his father's coronation in May.
