Minerva Punjab FC owner Ranjit Bajaj has again alleged that five of his players were recently approached to fix matches in the I-League.
Bajaj, taking to his Twitter account, revealed that a total of seven players from his team were approached by bookies to throw matches. He also called out the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for its silence on the matter.

Previously, Bajaj had tweeted that two players were offered Rs 30 lakh each for match-fixing. When the subject came to light, the AIFF had said that the matter would be investigated as soon as the federation received details of it in writing. Bajaj had then approached the AIFF integrity officer to report the issue, but to initiate a probe, they said they needed more than tweets to go ahead.
The AIFF has still not made any progress on the issue since it was reported first.
Minerva are the surprise leaders of this season's I-League, with 25 points, four ahead of Neroca FC.
