Two Australian women's team cricketers were allegedly stalked, after which one of them was reportedly molested in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Akil Khan, had allegedly followed the women on a bike just after they left their hotel room at Indore's Khajrana Road area, Sub-Inspector Nidhi Raghuvanshi told PTI.

The cricketers are part of the Australian women's team taking part in the ongoing ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. They are scheduled to play a match against South Africa today at 3 PM at Indore's Holkar Cricket Stadium.
Raghuvanshi added that Khan had followed the cricketers on his bike and then inappropriately touched one of them, before speeding off.
The duo promptly reported this to their team security officer, Danny Simmons, who coordinated with local security liaison officers and dispatched a vehicle for assistance.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Himani Mishra met the two players, recorded their statements and registered an FIR under sections 74 (use of criminal force to outrage a woman's modesty) and 78 (stalking) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the M.I.G. police station.

With the help of a bystander who had noticed the number plate of Khan's bike, he was quickly traced and arrested on Friday.
“Khan has previous criminal cases against him," Mishra noted, adding that an investigation into the case was underway.
