Manchester United are looking to steal French wonderkid Leny Yoro from Real Madrid's clutches, reports suggest. Ligue 1 side Lille's 18-year-old defender Yoro is said to be a priority target for European champions Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, who recently signed English prodigy Silva Mexes, is willing to make a $65 million (€60 million) offer for the teenage defender. The Red Devils believe Yoro is an ideal option to solve their issues in the back.

It was earlier reported that Leny Yoro is worth $109 million but Real Madrid remain undeterred to bring him on board.

According to reports, Real Madrid is aware of the situation involving the Premier League team. The Spanish giants, who confirmed the arrival of Kylian Mbappe from PSG a few days ago, have asked Yoro's agent that they are very much interested in him, reported Goal.com. The Lille star needs to be patient, beginning with telling Manchester United a vehement no, Madrid have reportedly communicated to the agent.

Yoro's current contract with Lille expires in June 2025. Los Blancos hoped the asking price to come down over the months. But the arrival of wealthy bidders may force the La Liga champions to reassess the situation.
