Young pace sensation Mayank Yadav in all likelihood will miss Lucknow Super Giants' next IPL match against Delhi Capitals at home on April 12. Yadav, 21, left the field after bowling just one over against Gujarat Titans on Sunday. When he came to bowl in the fourth over of Titans' chase of 164, he could cross the 140 kmph-mark only twice in the over before walking off the field with the team physio -- leaving cricket fans across the country concerned. Here is what you need to know about the fitness of the young seamer, who is undoubtedly the find of the tournament so far.

  • Why is Mayank Yadav special? Mayank, who made his IPL debut against Punjab Kings in this IPL, had taken six wickets from two matches before limping out in the third game. He made an instant impression with his ability to breach the 150 kmph mark effortlessly. In his second IPL match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the right-arm fast bowler took three for 14 and also bowled a 156.7 kmph delivery, the fastest of this IPL. Mayank bettered his own mark of 155.8 delivery that he bowled against the Punjab outfit in the previous match.
