IPL is right around the corner-- the opening ceremony, followed by the first match will take place tomorrow. The opening ceremony, which will take place at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai is expected to be a star-studded event.

Chennai Super Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match. Last year, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia and singer Arijit Singh performed at the opening ceremony.
Rahman and Nigam will perform some patriotic numbers. Kumar and Shriff's performance is expected to be about 30 minutes, and there will be an AR (Augmented Reality) technology display during the opening ceremony.” Kumar and Tiger are working on Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The opening ceremony will begin at 6.30 pm on Friday.
