If reports are to be trusted, German talent Jamal Musiala has made up his mind to part ways with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The 21-year-old attacker, who scored 7 goals so far this season, intends to switch his base to England after having rejected a £150,000-a-week contract offered by the Bavarian side.

According to multiple media reports, Jamal Musiala has already communicated with Bayern that he will not ink the said deal. Nevertheless, it was not immediately known if the youngster was open to counter-offers or not.

Manchester City is the frontrunner to bring Musiala on board, Daily Star said in a report. However, Liverpool and Chelsea are also in the race to sign the man who played 25 times for Die Mannschaft to date. Scouts representing both City and Liverpool, the two frontrunners to lift the Premier League this season, were in attendance as Bayern Munich went down 3-0 against Leverkusen in February.

Musiala is not foreign to English conditions as he spent 8 years (2011-2019) with Chelsea's academy before making a switch to Germany. Thus, the London club believe that it has an edge over its domestic rivals in signing Musiala. They are expected to enter the equation as soon as the transfer window opens, the Daily Star report said.

Meanwhile, Eric Dier's loan move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich has been made permanent after he completed the required number of appearances mentioned in his contract, the German Bundesliga club said on Saturday.

The 30-year-old England defender joined Bayern Munich on loan in January in a deal to the end of the season after spending a decade with Spurs, reuniting with former team mate Harry Kane. Bayern said Dier's contract has been extended until June 2025 with Max Eberl, Bayern's board member for sport, saying the 30-year-old England international provided "valuable support" in defence.
