All it took Bengaluru FC was one good chance. Kerala Blasters FC were probably the better side for most part of the game but couldn't beat Gurpreet Singh Singh Sandhu. On the other hand Shivaldo Singh and Javi Hernandez combined when it mattered the most to hand their team the win.
The defeat dealt a major blow to KBFC's play-off dreams.
