One of the finest fielders on the team, Indian captain Rohit Sharma's catching abilities came in handy for the team in the Super 4 match on Tuesday, when India took on Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan team dug deep in the middle and cast a shadow on India's progression to the final, especially with Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka on the crease.
Shanaka got out thanks to a brilliant catch by Rohit Sharma, which was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja. The wicket was a crucial one and the evidence was how Sharma celebrated with team mate Virat Kohli. Kohli, known to wear his heart on his sleeve, gave a big hug to India's captain after the latter caught Shanaka on a stunning low dive.
Virat Kohli hugging Rohit Sharma was a wholesome moment.

It became difficult for the rest of Sri Lanka's batting order to withstand the pressure after Shanaka's dismissal-- the entire team was all-out on 172 in 41.3 overs.
Spinners played a key role with Kuldeep Yadav bagging four wickets and Jadeja claiming two. The other wicket-takers were Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya.
Tuesday's outcome puts India through to the Asia Cup 2023 final. The second spot will depend on a match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Thursday.
