The amendment to the schedule will ensure that players and fans will have the best possible experience at the pinnacle event of the one-day game," Chris Tetley, ICC's head of events, said in a statement.

If you are buying tickets online, you have to collect printed tickets from one of the counters and produce them at the entry gates as no e-tickets will be available, according to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. These tickets can be collected from one of the counters at the ticket centres.
"We cannot do e-tickets this time. We would make arrangements so that tickets can be redeemed at various places a week before. It would make things hassle-free. It will get difficult to manage e-ticket at high-capacity venues like Ahmedabad and Lucknow. Our plan is to start using e-tickets more in bilaterals first and then take it to multi-nation events like the World Cup," Shah told ANI.
