The wait for World Cup tickets is finally over as the schedule for the games are now finalised. The fixtures of eight matches have been rescheduled, including the India vs Pakistan match that has been preponed to October 14 from October 15.

Booking dates

You can register your interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from August 15. This will help you get ticket news first and bag a spot at your favourite game. "We call on all of cricket's hundreds of millions of fans to register your interest from next week to ensure you are one of the first to receive ticket news and to be a part of the biggest Cricket World Cup. The amendment to the schedule will ensure that players and fans will have the best possible experience at the pinnacle event of the one-day game," Chris Tetley, ICC's head of events, said in a statement.

Ticket sale dates

Tickets will be available for sale from August 25 in a phased manner due to increased demand for tickets, ICC said in a press release. Check out ticket sale dates below:

August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
August 30: India matches at Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram
August 31: India matches at Delhi, Chennai and Pune
September 1: India matches at Mumbai, Lucknow and Dharamsala
September 2: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad
September 15: Semi-finals and final

No e-tickets

If you are buying tickets online, you have to collect printed tickets from one of the counters and produce them at the entry gates as no e-tickets will be available, according to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. These tickets can be collected from one of the counters at the ticket centres.

"We cannot do e-tickets this time. We would make arrangements so that tickets can be redeemed at various places a week before. It would make things hassle-free. It will get difficult to manage e-ticket at high-capacity venues like Ahmedabad and Lucknow. Our plan is to start using e-tickets more in bilaterals first and then take it to multi-nation events like the World Cup," Shah told ANI.
