"We call on all of cricket's hundreds of millions of fans to register your interest from next week to ensure you are one of the first to receive ticket news and to be a part of the biggest Cricket World Cup. The amendment to the schedule will ensure that players and fans will have the best possible experience at the pinnacle event of the one-day game," Chris Tetley, ICC's head of events, said in a statement.

No e-tickets
If you are buying tickets online, you have to collect printed tickets from one of the counters and produce them at the entry gates as no e-tickets will be available, according to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. These tickets can be collected from one of the counters at the ticket centres.
"We cannot do e-tickets this time. We would make arrangements so that tickets can be redeemed at various places a week before. It would make things hassle-free. It will get difficult to manage e-ticket at high-capacity venues like Ahmedabad and Lucknow. Our plan is to start using e-tickets more in bilaterals first and then take it to multi-nation events like the World Cup," Shah told ANI.
