Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus at the end of the season. The 35-year-old Portuguese star has had a wonderful season at Juventus scoring 53 goals in 75 appearances. Juventus broke its all-time record fee for signing a player when they bought Ronaldo over from Real Madrid in 2018, before going on to win their eighth consecutive Serie A title.

Italian broadcaster Radio Rossonera reported that Ronaldo was contemplating leaving the club at the end of the season. It didn’t throw light on where the former Real Madrid man would be headed. At 35 years, it is hard to see Ronaldo going anywhere for a record fee, even by his class. The most prolific Champions League goal scorer will however have many big clubs lining up to have him. Ronaldo shocked many in 2018 when he announced that he would be leaving Real Madrid. Ronaldo scored a whopping 450 goals for Real Madrid across competitions from just 438 games from 2009 – 2018.

A return to Spain seems unlikely for Ronaldo, where there are only three clubs who could afford him. While Ronaldo has enjoyed success with Real Madrid, they may not look to spend to take him back. Atletico are known for their frugality with spending and Barcelona will be complete no-no due to the Messi factor and years of bitterness while he was at Real Madrid. French champions PSG who are known to throw money around will be a huge prospect, as will Manchester City.
