Australia captain Meg Lanning won the toss and chose to bat first against India in the Women’s T20 World Cup final on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
India made it to their maiden T20 World Cup final after topping the group stage and the semifinal against England was washed out. Four-time champions Australia made it to their sixth final after defeating South Africa in the semis.
Both teams have fielded unchanged squads.
