A video featuring students from a school in Malappuram district in Kerala has taken the internet by storm. Kids from the Government LP school in Malappuram scored a spectacular freekick during a game in their school which has been lauded by none other than former FIFA World Cup-winning legend Lothar Matthaus and Liverpool ace player Xherdan Shaqiri.

While Matthaus and Shaqiri commented on the post, former Australian striker Tim Cahill, Barcelona stars Frenkie de Jong and Ivan Rakitic, Bayern Munich's Philippe Coutinho, PSG's Angel di Maria, among others liked the post.

The video shows the kids selling the goalkeeper a dummy during a freekick before scooping the ball into goal. The video which was shared on social media on Tuesday has already gotten over five million views on Instagram. Matthaus, Shaqiri and Colombian women's team player Melissa Ortez are some of the footballing personalities that have liked the video on social media.

The Twitter account of Manjappada, the official supporters and fans club of ISL team Kerala Blasters, also retweeted the video.

Stepping over the ball to dummy the goalkeeper during freekicks are a common these days. In this case, the dummy has been done by four boys. Two of them first step over to the left and right before a third one feigns a kick. The fourth boy then takes the shot scooping the ball over the keeper and into the net.
