Sony's latest State of Play showcase revealed information about brand new games along with more details for already announced titles. The showcase had gamers excited with a 20-minute gameplay of God of War Laufey, along with new visuals for the long-awaited Wolverine.

PlayStation fans also got to see fresh gameplay for new horror titles, including ILL and The Lost Wild.

Fans also got to see some classics make a comeback with remakes and sequels for titles like the iconic Tomb Raider and the Stuntman franchise.

Marvel's Wolverine

In a new gameplay reveal, Isomiac Games showcased a fresh gameplay look at Marvel's Wolverine. The footage shows a brutal, action-packed single-player adventure. The game also shows the Logans ' famous healing mechanics along with the bloodbath.

God of War Laufey

One of the biggest reveals was for God of War Laufey. The extended gameplay presentation, which ran for 20 minutes, shows Faye, Krato’s wife and Atreus’s mother, navigating the afterlife.

The game is set to expand the God of War lore via one of its most important characters. Actress Deborah Ann Woll returns as Faye.

The launch date for this one is to be announced.

Until Dawn 2

In an unexpected reveal, Firespirite revealed its sequel to Until Dawn, Until Dawn 2.

This time the action is set to take place on a tropical island where a group of ghost hunters find themselves trapped with a slasher like killed.

The sequel launches in 2027.

The Lost Wild

A brand new reveal is The Lost Wild. There is not much detail on this one, but it is definitely for the dinosaur lovers. It is set to come out in 2027.

ILL

State of Play also gave us a first look at ILL, a horror survival game scheduled for 2027. A first-person action game, it looks like it serves terrifying body horror.

Kemuri

Another original project revealed was Kemuri, a Tokyo-based game created by Unseen Games, the studio led by industry veteran Ikumi Nakamura. Kemuri is a three-player action game where players will have to hunt the supernatural Yakoi in a sprawling vertical city and ruins.

It launches in 2027.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, which is set to launch on February 12, 2027, generated the most excitement with its improved visuals and controls.

PlayStation also announced the September release dates of several anticipated titles:

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is set to be released on September 25

Silent Hill: Townfall is set to be released on September 24

Control: Resonant is also set to be out on September 24

Dune: Awakening will be out on PS5 on September 22
