With the conflict in the Middle East escalating, multiple flight services from the UAE and Kuwait have been suspended, according to reports. Major airlines, including Emirates and Etihad, have announced the cancellation of flights to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia,

While Emirates airline cancelled eight flights between Dubai and Kuwait on Sunday,  Etihad Airways has cancelled its services between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait on Sunday and  Monday.

Emirates cancelled eight flights between Dubai International Airport and Kuwait International Airport on Sunday.

Air Arabia too cancelled its flights to Kuwait in response to the ongoing restrictions at Kuwait International Airport. The country’s state carrier, Kuwait Airways, said it had  rescheduled the majority of its commercial flights after take-offs and landings at Kuwait International Airport were temporarily suspended on Saturday following Iranian drone threats.  Flights G9068, G9124 and G9121 from Sharjah to Kuwait were listed as cancelled, along with return flights G9069 and G9125. Air Arabia Abu Dhabi flights 3L020 and 3L022 from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait and flight 3L021 from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi were also listed as cancelled.

As for Etihad, it cancelled flights EY653 and EY654 between Zayed International Airport  and Kuwait International Airport on July 19 and 20.

Other than Kuwait, Saudi Arabia also faced flight disruptions at Abha International Airport. flydubai flights between Dubai and Abha remain affected while Air Arabia’s Sharjah-Abha services have also faced cancellations. However, several domestic Saudi flights connecting Abha with Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina and Tabuk continue operating.
